This section provides information regarding agreements (Memorandums of Understanding) between CAP and other Canadian jurisdictions allowing CAP members to provide telepsychology services from Alberta to clients/patients residing in another province.
Currently, two Memorandums of Understanding (MOU) exist:
- MOU between Alberta and Nunavut. The MOU is effective June 30, 2023 and expires on June 30, 2026.
- MOU between Alberta and the Association of Canadian Psychology Regulatory Organizations (ACPRO) is effective April 1, 2024 and is subject to review every two years, but can be revised upon agreement of the signatories in advance of the scheduled review.
