Bill Hanson
Ex-Officio
Dr. Hanson is a Registered Psychologist and Acting Assistant Deputy Registrar (ADR) at CAP. As ADR, he is the Ex-Officio member of the Competence Committee (CC) and a liaison between CAP and CC.
As a Regulator and former tenured Professor/Director of nationally accredited doctoral programs in clinical/counselling psychology, he’s interested in clinical training and supervision, competency assessment and benchmarking, and Measurement-Based Care (MBC). Clinically speaking, he specializes in Collaborative/Therapeutic Assessment (C/TA), psychosocial oncology, and sleep problems.
For fun, he writes children’s books, movie screenplays, and Op-Eds on hockey analytics.
Dr. Hanson lives in St. Albert, AB, with his wife, three sons, and two dogs.
